Life, illustrated

Just like the tooth whorl of a Helicoprion, these tales of life are not always straightforward. Sometimes it would take centuries and the invention of better tools to really understand an animal, and storytellers to spread the word about it. But science, as a field, is an ever-evolving one with countless of stories to be told.

Images have become increasingly relevant these days, now that people scroll past them with the convenience of a simple thumb motion. We are living in an age where big things are discovered every day, yet a big chunk of the population are unable to keep up with the information overload. In a sea of clickbaits, it's not easy to tell a story about strange worlds and creatures without the stopping power of an image.

As we keep telling stories of life on Earth, I hope our images are worth more than a million words.
