Gorgosaurus Libratus stock image
Gorgosaurus libratus was a tyrannosaurid that lived in Alberta and Montana about 10 million years before the namesake of the family, Tyrannosaurus rex. Like its larger, later relative, Gorgosaurus was the top predator of its ecosystem, and hunted duckbilled and horned dinosaurs.
