Epidexipteryx was a scansoriopterygid theropod dinosaur from the Middle Jurassic of China. It is shown here eyeing a Mongoloarachne, formerly known as Nephila jurassica. The single Epidexipteryx fossil contains the earliest known example of display feathers and Mongolarachne is the largest known fossil spider.
