Estemmenosuchus Permian Weirdo framed print
Estemmenosuchus was a large therapsid from the Permian Period of the Ural region of Russia. Its horns were probably for display among members of its own species. Scientists also believe the animal may have kept its internal body temperature constant by being large and rotund, a phenomenon known as gigantothermy.
