Solnhofen Paleo Parks poster
The Solnhofen is a world-renowned lagerstätte found in Germany. In the Late Jurassic Period it was a lagoonal environment in an archipelago along the Tethys Sea. It is famous for producing Archaeopteryx specimens and numerous pterosaurs.
